From uk.omg.yahoo.com:
You Me At Six Josh Franceschi: I’m a fan of One Direction
It’s not *exactly* the kind of music we’d expect You Me At Six’s Josh Franceschi to have on his iPod.

Josh revealed he’s a fan of One Direction. Yup really. Copyright [Wenn]
But the rock band’s lead singer has confessed to omg! that he is indeed a fan of One Direction.
Speaking exclusively to us at the #FIFA13CelebCup, Josh told us: “I do like One Direction, I do like The Wanted, I like Justin Bieber.
“I genuinely have that stuff on my iPod. As a fan of music you can’t deny the fact when someone writes a good pop song or song in general, regardless of what kind of genre it is.”
But Josh told us that he does reckon that Simon Cowell’s baby 1D have had a much bigger leg up than most in the music industry.
He said: “I think bands like One Direction have an advantage of the machine that is the X Factor or Simon Cowell which is the support that rock music isn’t really getting.
“But I would say there has to be a lot praise given to radio stations like Radio 1. Over the last 15 months they’ve definitely got behind rock music far stronger than they ever have before. They’re now even playing our song on daytime radio. That sort of thing wasn’t happening.”
Josh also reckons there should be more space for rock acts on the X Factor - and not ones like last year’s wild child Frankie Cocozzo.
Asked if there should be more rock on the ITV show he said: “I think if rock’s represented in the right way.
“Frankie Cocozza, nothing personal, but he was trying to live up to stereotypes that don’t exist anymore.
“That’s the problem with the general public’s reception with rock music and rock stars. that’s not really what it’s about. As soon as we get rid of that stereotype it will be easier to get that stuff in the charts.”
The band are gearing up for a headline tour at Wembley this winter and Josh told us that fans can expect a treat.
He told us: “We had a production meeting the other day and we basically said why don’t we just spend all the money that we’re paid on the show - which is a sufficient amount - and put on the kind of show that people will see and talk about.”
